The atelierOne bench, since 2021.
A bench, a wall of vases, and the smell of eucalyptus from the moment the buckets come in.
It started with a note card.
Naledi Mokoena spent ten years arranging flowers for hotels before she opened her own bench in 2021. The rule she brought with her was simple: no bouquet leaves without words. First a borrowed corner of a Rosebank deli, then the shop on Linden Avenue, and the same rule every morning since.
Today a bench of five florists conditions, trims and composes from first light, and the kettle is always on for anyone who wants to watch.

Wrapped, ribboned, written.
Ivory paper folded twice, sage satin tied once, and your words in ink on cotton card. The same three gestures since the first bouquet.

Fresh flowers, on a schedule.
For homes, front desks and restaurants that like the room to speak first. Pause it, move it, or hand the choosing over to the bench entirely.

The van leaves Linden Avenue at 11:00 and 15:00, city-wide. Order before 10:00 and your words arrive the same day, still cool from the studio.
The kettle is always on.
